System integrators and providers demonstrating the latest machine vision solutions in the Integration Area at VISION 2014 will have an increased space to do so, as Messe Stuttgart has announced a larger section for the platform.
For the fifth time, exhibitors will have the opportunity to see some of the latest machine vision systems and products up close in the Integration Area, but as a result of new exhibitors and increased interest in the area, additional floor space has been added. In fact, the show currently has integrators from seven countries signed up for the VISION show, as representatives from Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, and the United States will all be in attendance.
"We believe that VISION is the perfect place to show how our robot solution for picking up unsorted parts, for example from a container, can improve the performance of production machines and processes," said Roberto Polesel, CEO von Euclid Labs (Italy), a company that will be participating in the Integration Area for the first time this year.
In addition to the Integration Area, VISION 2014 will feature its first ever Inspection Application Forum, in which potential users of machine vision technologies can learn from system and solution providers, and perhaps see which company may be most suited for them. Florian Niethammer, Project Manager for VISION, Messe Stuttgart explains that the forum will target both providers of machine vision solutions and components, as well as potential end users.
"The new presentation format is an ideal supplement to existing offers such as the VISION Integration Area," he said. "Firstly, it is directed at providers with system solution competence, but also at component providers who can appear together with their system partners."
Messe Stuttgart also announced a special showcase for industrial PCs, which will be positioned within the entrance area of Hall 1 of the show, where IPC exhibitors will tout the advantages and capabilities of some of the latest computers used in the machine vision industry.
VISION 2014 is expected to attract approximately 400 exhibitors showing the latest components, including cameras, frame grabbers, illumination systems, optics, IPCs, software, machine vision accessories and suppliers of systems, complete solutions and services.
