Basler has introduced six new models in its line of ace USB 3.0 cameras that feature the CMV2000 and CMV4000 CMOS image sensors from CMOSIS. The acA2000-165 camera is available with a CMV2000 2 MPixel image sensor and achieves a frame rate of 165. The camera is available in color (acA2000-165uc), monochrome (acA2000-165um), and with heightened near-infrared sensitivity (acA2000-165umNIR). The other set of new cameras is the acA2040-90, which is available with the CMV4000 4 MPixel image sensor and achieves a frame rate of 90 fps. This camera is also available in color (acA2040-90uc), monochrome (acA2040-90um), and with heightened NIR sensitivity (acA2040-90umNIR). All camera models feature a 5.5 µm x 5.5 µm pixel size and global shutter and are suitable for use in machine vision, intelligent traffic systems, medical imaging, and microscopy applications.
