New fromKEYENCE CORPORATION is the VR-3000 series of 3D measurement systems, which enable instant, non-contact 3D scans of a wide area, which has been difficult to achieve with conventional methods. KEYENCE combined its TMT one-shot algorithm with its 3D technology to create an algorithm for instant 3D measurement. The VR-3000 series feature 4 MPixel monochrome CMOS image sensors, two double-telecentric transmitter lenses, a double-telecentric receiver lens, LED ring light sources, and a dedicated PC specified by KEYENCE for data processing. The 3D measurement system can perform batch analyses between multiple samples simultaneously under the same condition, and can compare measurement results directly to CAD data. Additionally, it can automatically determine if a part is good or bad based on user-defined tolerances.
