Teledyne e2v recently launched an addition to its Flash CMOS image sensors, the Flash 2K LSA. The C-mount format, monochrome global shutter CMOS sensor has 2048 x 1080 resolution, 6 µm pixel pitch, 1,500 fps frame rate and >50-100 dB dynamic range.The sensors come in versions for all Scheimpflug angles, from 0° to more than 40°.
The Flash 2K LSA sensor, which is a µPGA 228 package with a 27 x 27 mm footprint, is specifically designed for an array of machine vision applications, such as 3D laser profiling and high speed/high resolution inspection.
