Smart cameras and imaging software from Matrix Vision to be on display at VISION 2016

Smart cameras, imaging software, and additionall industrial cameras featuring Sony Pregius CMOS sensors to be showcased by Matrix Vision at VISION 2016.

At VISION 2016,Matrix Vision will showcase a number of its latest imaging solutions, including two new low-cost models of its mvBlueGEMINI smart cameras, as well as its mvIMPACT Configuration Studio software.

The first new smart camera is the mvBlueGEMINI-Ident, which is designed for reading texts and codes, including barcodes, 2D codes, or QR codes. The second model is the mvBlueGEMINI-Inspect, which is used for inspecting objects and is able to find, check, and measure objects in inspection tasks. mvBlueGEMINI smart cameras are based on the 1.3 MPixel e2v EV76C560 CMOS image sensor, which features a 5.3 µm pixel size, and also feature an FPGA/SoC with Dual Core Cortex-A9. Both new cameras are equipped with mvIMPACT Configuration Studio, which is powered by MVTec HALCON software and enables the deployment of inspection tasks without the need for programming.

Additionally, Matrix Vision will showcase a number of USB 3.0, GigE, and dual GigE cameras that feature the latest Sony Pregius CMOS image sensors, including 9 and 12 MPixel models.
