InfraTechas announced the release of the VarioCAM HDx infrared cameras, which are available in a handheld and a stationary version. The cameras feature a 640 x 480 uncooled microbolomter focal plane array with a 7.5 – 14 µm spectral range that can achieve a frame rate of 30 fps in full frame and 60 fps in sub-frame. The cameras, according to InfraTec, are aimed primarily at measurement and inspection tasks and also feature an IP67 housing, GigE Vision interface, and a measurement accuracy of ± 2 °C or ± 2% Additionally, the infrared cameras feature an 8 MPixel digital color video camera with LED, 16-bit dynamic range, up to 32X digital zoom, automatic objective detection lens mount, and IRBIS3 software for analysis and evaluation.
