Designed to provide a complete solution for microscopy imaging, the Microscopy PowerPack from Baslerhas been expanded to include new camera modelsas well as a new sharpening feature. The new ace cameras available in the PowerPack include the Microscopy ace 3.2 MP and Microscopy ace 5.1 MP, which feature Sony Pregius CMOS image sensors and reach speeds up to 55 fps, while the Microscopy ace 1.3 MP 160 and Microscopy Ace 1.3 MP 200 feature ON Semiconductor CMOS image sensor and speeds of up to 200 fps.

All Basler PowerPacks for microscopy also include a sharpening feature to optimize the image for depth of focus. When the magnification is high, the user has to determine one depth level to put in focus, and other image areas remain blurred. A new patented algorithm ensures that the user can bring more sharpness into the entire picture, without affecting the speed of the camera of the real-time image transmission. PowerPacks come with choice of camera, USB 3.0 camera, installation guide, and microscopy software.
