3D confocal line sensors from FocalSpec to be shown at Automate

FocalSpec will have its LCI line of 3D confocal line sensors—which enable 3D measurements of matte and highly-reflective parts, surfaces, and assembles—on display at Automate 2017.

FocalSpec will have its LCI line of 3D confocal line sensors—which enable 3D measurements of matte and highly-reflective parts, surfaces, and assembles—on display at Automate 2017. LCI sensors feature a resolution of up to 100 nm, a data acquisition rate of up to 8.2 million 3D surface data points/second, and GigE interface. LCI sensors are available in three models: LCI 400 (4.50 mm optical profile length, 2.2 µm pixel size (X), and 10 µm pixel size (Y), LCI 1600 (16.40 mm optical profile length, 8 µm pixel size (X), and 36 µm pixel size (Y), and LCI 1200 (11.26 optical profile length, 5.5 µm pixel size (X), and 25 µm pixel size (Y).
