On display at the Ophir Optics booth at XPONENTIAL 2017 will be the company’s new LightIR continuous zoom infrared lens, which is designed for UAV payloads. The lenses are available in 20 mm and 275 mm focal length and maintain focus through the entire zoom range. Optimized for stabilized payloads, the infrared lenses feature a spectral range of 3 to 5 µm, average transmission of ≥93%, a back focal length of 23.52 mm, and a minimum focusing range of 10 m (275 mm lens), and 1 meter (20 mm lens). In addition to these lenses, Ophir will showcase its full line of optics designed for UAV payloads.
