At the Computar booth at XPONENTIAL, the company will showcase shortwave infrared (SWIR) and zinc sulfide thermal lensesfor the OEM market. The SWIR lenses deliver transmission from 800nm-1,700nm and are available in 16mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm focal lengths and are designed for high-resolution with low-distortion, offering megapixel clarity in hyperspectral applications. The thermal lenses have a practical transparency between 8-12 μm wavelength (LWIR), and are available in 8.6mm, 13mm, 18.8mm and 35mm, and can be deployed in mission critical situations—including perimeter surveillance, search and rescue, and border patrol—according to the company.
