ProPhotonix has launched UV industrial lasers at a wavelength of 375 nm, adding to the company’s product line. Available at power levels from 0.97 to 30 mW, the lasers have a diameter of 19 mm and are available in a range of optics with fixed or adjustable focal lengths. The system produces a Gaussian intensity laser line with straight-line precision without bowing. Other specifications: bore-sighting at <0.25°; fan angles for cross generating optics of 70° and 45° to 90° for line generating optics; static, surge and reverse polarity circuit protection; hard-anodized black aluminum housing material; scratch-resistant sapphire window to protect the lens. The lasers are suitable for applications ranging from UV curing and 3D printing to analytical use cases such as particle analysis and spectroscopy.
