ProPhotonix recently launched a new addition to its COBRA MultiSpec lighting series, the COBRA MultiSpec RGB-SWIR. The new light configuration can be used in vision systems with various combinations of cameras for a variety of image capture applications in both RGB and SWIR wavelengths and can be configured with up to 12 wavelengths. It offers standard and/or customized wavelength configuration options, extreme brightness and uniformity, integrated strobe and ethernet control, and input power monitoring and error detection. It has a modular design and is available in any length up to 6m. This lighting platform is especially designed for a variety of machine vision applications such as sorting tasks and automated inspections.
