Point Grey will showcase its Blackfly and Grasshopper3 cameras atSPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26-28, 2013. Point Grey’s Blackfly GigE Vision cameras range from 0.5 MPixel to 2.3 MPixel sizes and feature models with CCD or CMOS image sensors. Blackfly cameras, which achieve frame rates up to 60 fps, feature Power over Ethernet, 16 MByte frame buffers, LED status indicators, and an on-camera image processing which provides color interpolation, gamma, and lookup table functionality.
Grasshopper 3 cameras range from 2.8 MPixel to 9.1 MPixel sizes and feature models with CCD or CMOS image sensors. The cameras achieve frame rates up to 90 fps and combine an FPGA and frame buffer-based architecture.Grasshopper3 cameras, which also feature a full image processing pipeline, are suitable for use in flat panel inspection, 3D measurement, ophthalmology, flow-scanning cytometry, and fluorescence imaging.
