SmartRay expands portfolio of compact 3D laser sensors

SmartRay’s new ECCO series of 3D laser sensors will be showcased at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26-28, 2013.

SmartRay’s new ECCO series of 3D laser sensors will be showcased at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26-28, 2013. The ECCO 35 3D laser sensor features a resolution of 0.1mm and a scan width of 80 mm. The ECCO 53 features a scan frequency of up to 6 kHz and is suited for use in a broad spectrum of 3D applications. SmartRay ECCO sensors will also feature SmartRay Studio 4 software, which features an intuitive user interface and allows users to easily convert a 3D profile into a calibrated point cloud. ECCO sensors are housed in IP65 enclosures and weigh less than 180g.
