e-con Systems announces USB 3.0 camera with changeable lenses

e-con Systems has announced the release of the See3CAMCU50 USB 3.0 camera, which features an OmniVision CMOS image sensor and supports the M12 lens holder.  

e-con Systems has announced the release of the See3CAMCU50USB 3.0 camera, which features an OmniVision CMOS image sensor and supports the M12 lens holder. Five MPixel See3CAMCU50 cameras are equipped with 1/4” OmniVision OV5640 CMOS image sensors with a 1.4 µm x 1.4 µm pixel size. The camera supports video streaming in 1080p at a frame rate of 30 fps and full resolution (2592 x 1944) at 15 fps. e-con Systems’ sample Linux and Windows applications uses the standard UVC protocol to access the camera controls. The e-CAMView, sample Windows DirectShow based sample video viewer application enables controls such as supports brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, sharpness control, and white balance. See3CAMCU50 cameras are suitable for use in microscopy, medical imaging, surveillance, and video analytics applications.
