Featuring an EMCCD and an sCMOS camera, QImaging’s all-in-one Live Cell Imaging Package provides with the ability to address various scientific imaging needs. The package's sCMOS camera, the optiMOS features a 1920 x 1080 BAE CIS1910F Scientific CMOS image sensor with a 6.5 μm x a 6.5 μm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 100 fps at full resolution. The camera also features 16-bit digital output and a PCIe interface. The EMCCD camera, the Rolera Thunder, features a 512 x 512 e2v L3Vision CCD97 image sensor with a 16 μm x 16 μm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 30 fps at full resolution. The Rolera also features 16-bit digital output, and an IEEE-1394 FireWire interface. The Live Cell Imaging Package enables users to seamlessly alternate between the two imaging technologies for various scientific imaging applications.
