The embedded fanless KBox A-202 is based on the Intel Atom processor E3800 and offers a range of industrial interfaces, including 2 GigE, 2 USB 3.0, and an optional CAN bus and/or Profibus interface, whereas legacy installations benefit from two serial interfaces (RS-232/485). Supporting Kontron’s embedded application programming interface (KEAPI) and Intel Gateway Solutions for the Internet of Things, the KBox A-202 can be deployed by OEM and SI customers looking to exploit the full potential of the IoT by extending their systems to connect with next-generation intelligent infrastructures. Additionally, the Kbox A-202 features with LTE (4G) and GSM (2G/3G) or WiFi for wireless connection to the cloud or local network.
