Featuring a spectral range of 50GHz to 0.7 THz, the Terasense Terahertz (THz) camera targets applications that employ high-speed conveyor belts such as packaging, pharmaceutical inspection, and automotive inspection. The camera features a 256 x 1 THz detector that can achieve speeds up to 5 kHz (5,000 fps) and can scan at a speed of 15 meters/second, equivalent to 900 meters/minute. The camera consists of the THz camera and a THz generator, which is supplied with a specially-configured horn antenna designed to cover the entire imaging area across the conveyor belt. The horn spreads the THz beam evenly and ensures that the whole THz radiation power is properly delivered from the generator into the camera. The Terasense camera also comes with TeraFast viewer software.
