Arcure releases new ruggedized stereo camera

The Omega stereo camera complies with many rough environment operational standards.

The Omega stereo camera from Arcure is designed, according to the manufacturer, to be particularly reliable for outdoor applications. The camera offers IP69K protection and complies with ISO 16750, IEC 60068-2-27 and 60068-2-29, ISO 13766, and EN 12895 standards.

Equipped with color or monochrome CMOS sensors from e2v in 1 1/8” optical format, with 1280 x 1024 resolution and up to 60 fps in full frame, the sensor provides disparity and distance maps, and rectified images among other features. The Omega has an operational temperature from -40° to 75° C, a minimum range of 30 cm, and a maximum range of 50 m.
