Designed for use in applications including drones, augmented reality/virtual reality, barcode scanners, 3D scanning, and machine vision, the AR0144 CMOS image sensor from ON Semiconductor captures clean, accurate images with no artifacts in both bright and low light conditions, according to the company.

Designed for use in applications including drones, augmented reality/virtual reality, barcode scanners, 3Dscanning, and machine vision, the AR0144 CMOS image sensor from ON Semiconductor captures clean, accurate images with no artifacts in both bright and low light conditions, according to the company. The sensor is a 1/4" 1 MPixel global shutter CMOS image sensor with a 3 µm pixel size that is available in color and monochrome versions and in either 5.6 mm x 5.6 mm chip scale or bare die formats. The sensor can achieve a frame rate of 60 fps and can be adjusted to cover a particular region of interest.
