Embedded vision technology developer Vision Components, based in Ettlingen, Germany, has announced the celebration of the company’s 25th anniversary via a new webinar series and hackathon. Vision Components was founded in 1995, one year after CEO Michael Engel began developing industrial-grade smart cameras.
The company later began development of intelligent vision sensors, embedded 3D laser profilers, and most recently launched the VC picoSmart miniature embedded vision system. The company is also known for its development of MIPI camera modules designed for embedded vision systems running on single board computers.
