VISION 2021 will be held live in Stuttgart, Germany
After months of consideration and taking feedback from registered exhibitors, Messe Stuttgart on Tuesday announced that VISION, the machine vision community's largest trade fair, will be held live in Stuttgart, Germany, versus being presented as a virtual-only event owing to COVID-19.
"Based on all feedback, combined with the approval of a large part of the industry and considering the development of the general conditions, Messe Stuttgart has decided to hold VISION 2021 from 5-7 October," reads the announcement.
"Just like many of you, we are keen to meet in person and are also convinced that the trade fair can take place successfully in October, despite the known residual risks and presumably a stronger focus on Europe in 2021," the announcement continues.
Exhibitor registrations for VISION are currently open on the event website. 239 exhibitors are currently scheduled to attend the event.
Messe Stuttgart also announced that the Motek - International Trade Fair for Automation in Production and Assembly and parts2clean - Leading International Trade Fair for Industrial Parts and Surface Cleaning will be held at the exhibition center in tandem with VISION.
