Euresys releases FPGA design kit for Coaxlink frame grabbers

June 3, 2019

The CustomLogic FPGA design kit from Euresys is compatible with the company's Coaxlink Octo and Coaxlink Quad CXP-12 frame grabbers. CustomLogic allows users to design and upload FPGA code to the board. The design phase uses Xilinx Vivado development tools, and up to 70% of the Coaxlink Octo's and Coaxlink Quad CXP-12's Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale XCKU035 FPGA resources are available.

CustomLogic has on-board DDR4 memory, PCIe Gen 3 connectivity, and access to the CoaXPress camera pixel stream. The DDR4 memory interface and pixel stream interfaces are based on the AMBA AXI4 protocol.

CustomLogic also features Memento Event Logging messaging, that allows the user to send timestamped events to the Memento Logging Tool with a precision of 1 µs.
