New embedded interface released by Pleora Technologies

Data packets are sent over 1 Gbps GigE link up to 100 m over standard Ethernet connections.

The iPORT NTx-Mini-S embedded interface has a 43 x 67.1 x 5 mm footprint, converts sensor data to packets and sends them over a 1 Gbps GigE link at distances up to 100 m over standard Ethernet connections. The new interface also supports 2.5 and 5 Gbps image transfer over Cat5e cabling.

Featuring a 32 MB frame buffer for store-and-forward applications, line scan and area scan modes, and a programmable logic controller, the iPORT NTx-Mini-S is GigE Vision and GenICam compliant. Firmware is updateable via the GigE port.

The interface also features up to 24-bit, 90 MHz parallel LVTTL/LVCMOS video input, and 2 interleaved taps.
