May 21, 2020
The FireBird 4xCXP-12-3PE8 suits single- or multi-camera solutions.

Offering speeds up to 12.5 Gbps per link with device power up to 13 W via PoCXP and control at up to 42 Mbps on a single coax cable, the 4xCXP-12-3PE8 frame grabber suits single- or multi-camera machine vision solutions. Up to 2.5 GB of DDR4 buffer memory are included. It uses the ActiveDMA RISC-based engine for zero CPU intervention for low-latency image data transfers. The frame grabber also has a PCI Gen3 x8 interface and a comprehensive I/O.

Additionally, the board supports cables up to 35 m at 12.5 Gbps and 100 m at 3.125 Gbps using Belden 1694A cable. The 4xCXP12-3PE4 version is designed for cost-sensitive projects. An ActiveSDK Software Development Kit is included and allows integrators to develop applications. It meets US EMC FCC Class A and EU CE EMC EN 55022:2010 (class A) and EN 55024 standards and is RoHS compliant.
