July 20, 2020
The new board is designed to enable complex edge AI systems.

D3 Engineering’s DesignCore Carrier Board for the NVIDIA Jetson NX Module provides 12 camera/sensor inputs to enable complex AI edge systems. Sensor data is delivered via a serial link and is deserialized into MIPI CSI-2 data for consumption, allowing the sensors to be placed up to 15 m away from the processing unit. It features 384-core NVIDIA Volta GPU with 48 tensor cores, 6-core NVIDIA Carmel ARM v 2.8 64-bit CPU, 8 GB 128-bit LPDDR4x, and 16 GB eMMC 5.1.

On-board peripherals include USB3, Gb Ethernet and DisplayPort. Expansion headers are available for SSD storage M.2 type M, WiFi/LTE M.2 type E, USB-C, PoE and an additional HDMI or DisplayPort. An on-board FPGA provides hardware-level synchronization.
