Pleora Technologies has introduced an embedded interface, the iPORT NTx-Deca, that transmits low latency GigE Vision video and data at 10 Gbps over flexible Ethernet cabling. In the event of a power or network failure, iPORT NTx-Deca’s image management allows a user to retrieve data to ensure continuous inspection. The embedded interface supports IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) to synchronize image capture and imaging system elements, with programmable logic controller (PLC) integration. Other features: Supports line scan and area scan modes, image store capability of up to 4096 images deep, field upgradable firmware, and 512 MB image buffer.
