Eye-tracking hardware described on the EyeTracking Inc. (ETI; San Diego, CA) Web site combines miniature sensing technology with image processing. ETI uses three head-mounted miniature cameras--two capture the gaze of each subject`s eye and one measures head movements. These systems have been used in San Diego State University`s Cognitive Ergonomic Research Facility (www.sci. sdsu.edu/cerf/) as part of projects sponsored by the Department of Defense.
