Video photometer measures brightness The Model 820 CCD video photometer measures the absolute

Sept. 1, 1999
The Model 820 CCD video photometer measures the absolute brightness of samples or scenes in footLamberts (range of 0.1 fL to infinity) or candelas per square meter (range of 0.34 cd/m2 to infinity) using a 35-mm f/1.7 lens and eight user-selectable shutter speeds. It can check the performance of displays, lamps, LEDs, and backlit panels by quantifying reflectance, luminance, contrast, viewing angle, flatness, haze, and residue. Video photometer measures brightness

The photometer generates a 640 x 480-pixel image digitized to 256 gray-scale levels and uses the company`s Eyeppearance Windows-95 compatible software to provide analysis tools that establish photometric levels for an image.
