    In "Pattern-matching imaging software overcomes variances" (Vision Systems Design, May 1999, p. 50), the author has omitted AdeptVision, a 10-year-old geometric-based pattern matching finder from Adept Technology (San Jose, CA) that has probably sold over 5000 units over the years. Many were sold as stand-alone vision systems as well as robot vision options.
