Board computer is reconfigurable
The ARIX single-board reconfigurable computer supports a TMS320C44 DSP coupled to a Xilinx Virtex 300, 800, or 1000 field-programmable gate array. The board topology of virtual-processing elements can support the equivalent of 1 million reconfigurable gates. It can be linked to other ARIX board computers via external connectors to create a cluster of reconfigurable computers. Memory consists of 100-MHz SRAM banks of 32 x 128 kwords. Software includes Windows, development and debugging tools, compiler, and libraries of hardware cores.
