• COTS board does GFLOPS

The quad-`C6x Champ-C6 digital-signal-processor board delivers 4 GFLOPs of floating-point processing or 6400 MIPS of integer processing in a single 6U VME slot. A 250-MHz PowerPC processor functions as a DMA engine controlling data flow or operates as a DSP controller running VxWorks. The internal bus uses a 66-MHz/64-bit PCI interconnect and three independent data paths, each with peak transfer rates of 528 Mbytes/s. The board comes with either four TMS320C6701 167-MHz processors or four TMS3
