Consisting of hardware platforms for PCI, CompactPCI, and VME architectures, the MVS-8200 series of machine-vision systems comes with a 200-MHz Intel MMX processor and PatMax software for speeding up alignment, guidance, inspection, and identification applications. Users can access a library of MMX-accelerated vision-software tools via a Visual C++ developer`s kit and port applications across other MVS-8000 platforms. Image-acquisition modules are available for RS-170, large format digital, color, linescan, rapid-reset, and progressive-scan cameras. Prices start at less than $10,000.
