The in-built image-processing computer contains 4 to 16 Mbytes of DRAM, is based on the PowerPC 403, runs at 33 MHz or 66 MHz, and can deliver 84 MIPS. Data output connections include Ethernet 10BaseT, modem, RS-232, and additional digital I/O lines. Software support includes Tornado 1.0, which contains a GNI-C compiler, a target source level debugger, and a VxWorks real-time operating system kernel, runs under Windows 95/NT.
