The progressive-scan camera furnishes a 659 x 494-pixel resolution, 7.4-μm-square pixels, shutter speeds of 1/10,000 to 2.2 s, and asynchronous reset by software or external trigger. The built-in PC offers a 66-MHz CPU, a DRAM memory of 8-64 Mbytes, a Flash memory of 2-80 Mbytes, and a 1280 x 1024-pixel, VGA graphics controller. Backpanel connectors allow interfacing to peripherals, communication ports, local-area networks, video, and parallel inputs/outputs. The system is compatible with NeuroCheck software for standard PCs using a Windows user interface.
