Parallel C adds two components to Analog Devices` standard compiler tools: a distributed real-time microkernel that supports tasks, threads, timers, and pre-emptive priority scheduling and an interprocessor message-switching software that provides end-to-end virtual connections over an underlying packet-switched network.
