Senior executives promoted
Chips and Technologies Inc. (San Jose, CA) has promoted two executives to senior-level positions. Sener Ilgen has been moved from director of software to senior director of engineering, and Tim Erjavec has been advanced from director of marketing to senior director of marketing. In previous employment, Ilgen worked as EDA director at Toshiba America Electronic Components and was manager of software development for the Fujitsu Microelectronics ASIC group. He earned a Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.S. degree from Syracuse University, both in computer engineering.
Prior to joining his present company, Erjavec held positions in sales and field application engineering at Motorola Semiconductor. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University.
