Versatile board combines imaging functions A single Vortex imaging board incorporates color frame grabber, real-time image processing, accelerated SVGA display controller, and NTSC/PAL video output functions. It can be configured with either one or two optional digital video interfaces that support 40-Mbyte/s data transfers for several Kodak Megaplus camera models and the PULNIX TM1000 camera. A nondestructive overlay capability operates at 8, 16, or 24 bits. Outputs include the S3 Virge GX2 graphics display under Windows 95/NT and standard composite (NTSC/PAL) and component (S-Video) formats. The board comes with 4 Mbytes of SGRAM and 16 Mbytes of DRAM and acts as a PCI bus master up to 107 Mbit/s.
