Available in three models, the Meteor-II/Multi-Channel PCI frame grabber can capture video from a variety of cameras, including component RGB and monochrome interlaced or progressive-scan types. It can digitize up to three channels of standard or nonstandard video from six available inputs and transfer image data at sustained rates of 130 Mbytes/s to 4 Mbytes of on-board memory or system memory. Other features include PCI bus-master interface, trigger input, RS-232 serial communication and power output, and a custom ASIC for pixel formatting. Software support includes Matrox Imaging Library, ActiveX controls, and Matrox Intellicam bundled with camera interfacing software.
