Machine-vision system doubles inspection rate

The Checkpoint 900 Dual machine-vision system includes two Checkpoint 900 vision boards, a rack-mounted industrial PC with an on-board CPU, a VGA card, keyboard and mouse, a 15-in. SVGA monitor, and associated system and Windows NT software installed. The PCI-bus 233-MHz MMX CPU rapidly processes complex automated inspection tasks. The two vision boards enable the inspection of twice the number of parts simultaneously. The system can also perform multiple gray-scale and color vision tasks at the same time and can support as many as four monochrome cameras and a single color camera.
