Frame grabber acquires data from four cameras

The IC-ASYN single machine-vision board integrates four frame grabbers on one full-size PCI bus card. Interfaced to multiple cameras, the board can digitize as many as four independent, asynchronous channels of 80-bit data from RS-170, CCIR, or progressive- scan cameras at up to 20 MHz/channel. Each channel has independent external trigger, frame reset, strobe, sync, timebase settings, area of interest settings, and input conditioning circuits. Each channel has independent external trigger, frame reset, strobe, sync, timebase settings, area of interest settings, and input conditioning circuits. Multi-frame modes allow as many as eight images to be consecutively acquired into each of four 4000 x 256 linear frame buffers. On-board 4-Mbyte frame buffer and DMA bus master transfer images to host memory in 4 ms. Vision software tools are available. Prices start at $1995.
