Machine-vision software goes color VisionBlox 3.0 offers two patented tools--the color meter and the color filter--for measuring, comparing, and filtering colors in an image at a rate of 250,000 color measurements in milliseconds. Machine-vision software goes color VisionBlox 3.0 offers two patented tools--the color meter and the color filter--for measuring, comparing, and filtering colors in an image at a rate of 250,000 color measurements in milliseconds. The color-meter tool supports the statistical operations needed to make color comparisons. After a comparison, the tool provides a Boolean output that indicates whether the colors statistically match and a color distance output that indicates how far on the color spectrum the colors are from each other. The color filter tool furnishes the capability of filtering various hues within an input image. It can be configured as a color stop filter, a color pass filter, and a color distance/similarity image. These tools work with a Microsoft Windows user interface.
