Software covers capture, processing, and analysis
Running on a standard PC under Windows 95/NT, the SimplePCI software provides flexible control over the main steps of image processing and analysis to customize data-collection applications. Images can be acquired from analog video cameras, digital cameras, disks, and scanners, among others. The software supports 16-bit gray and 24-bit color images and TIFF and JPEG formats. Image sequences can be captured over time; x, y, and¥axes; or wavelength. Other features include image enhancement, object identification, morphological transforms, object qualification, object and field measurements, and data collection and documentation.
