PCI bus board contains counter/timer and digital I/O
The $395 DT340 board incorporates eight 16-bit counter/timers, 32 digital I/O lines, and four 24-bit internal interval timers in a single PCI slot. It is supported by a range of Windows 95/NT software. The clock/timers can be cascaded to create a 32-bit counter/timer. The internal clock uses a 25-ns time base with output frequencies of 610 Hz to 20 MHz. The I/O lines are grouped into four 8-bit ports that can be programmed for either input or output.
