Neousys has announced the release of the Nuvo-3616VR, a mobile surveillance computer that integrates 16 Power over Ethernet+ ports in a compact, fanless chassis. The PC is powered by an Intel 3rd-Gen Core i7/i5 processor and with the updated IEEE 802.2at POE standard (also known as PoE+), up to 25.5 W of power are provided, which makes it possible to power a bullet, dome, or PTZ camera. The computer also features 4x 2.5” drives with RAID 0/1/5/10 storage system, patented easy-swap trays for HDD replacement, 8~35V wide-range DC input with built-in ignition power control, and per-port power on/off control for each PoE+ port. The Nuvo-3616VR is suitable for use in both stationary and mobile surveillance applications.
