Based on both 4th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 desktop processors and AMD Embedded Second Generation R-Series APUs, the new Mini-ITX computing platforms from ADLINK Technology are ready-to-use in such applications as industrial automation, medical, and infotainment (gaming/retail). The Mini-ITX embedded boards support both a PEG x16 card slot and an additional PCIe x1 I/O card slot, while featuring a movable BIOS chip, a vertical USB port for security dongles, and SATA docking sockets to accommodate SATA-DOM (disk-on-module). Additionally, all boards feature dual power inputs that allow for use of either a single 12V-DC power supply or a standard ATX power supply, as well as up to four serial ports (RS232/422/485) and multiple USB 2.0/3.0 ports.
