Olin College of Engineering (Needham, MA) will welcome its first freshman class in fall 2002. This highly selective undergraduate institution, with a focus on rigorous preparation in engineering and science, currently has a team of 30 students (recent high school graduates) and 14 faculty members designing all facets of the educational programs Olin College will offer. Olin's unique curriculum will equip its students to be successful technology leaders in the new millennium.

"Working with Olin College is an opportunity for The MathWorks to support the use of technology as a core tool in an innovative engineering and science curriculum," said Maureen Maher, director of education marketing. "It's especially gratifying to support the development of a local institution that is dedicated to designing a truly unique and focused educational experience for students in engineering and sciences."
