APRIL 17--DSP Architectures (Vancouver, WA; www.dsparchitectures.com), which designed the world's first signal processor optimized for the frequency domain, has published the RHDSP24 User's Guide, which features design and application information on its radiation-hardened DSP systems and supporting chips.

APRIL 17--DSP Architectures (Vancouver, WA; www.dsparchitectures.com), which designed the world's first signal processor optimized for the frequency domain, has published the RHDSP24 User's Guide, which features design and application information on its radiation-hardened DSP systems and supporting chips. The guide provides a detailed description of the RHDSP24 approach to digital-signal-processing systems and architectures. It includes a complete list of signal descriptions, as well as a block-level description of the RHDSP24, and function descriptions including related equations, DSP algorithms, and system-level single- and multi-chip configurations.

In addition, the guide introduces the RHtMMU24, a triple DSP memory-management unit, and includes a complete list of signal descriptions and a block-level description, detailed descriptions of each of the RHtMMU24 address patterns, related equations, and special considerations.

There is register-level programming, an introduction to the RHDSP24/RHtMMU24 script file complier, and a complete board design example, including software.
