JUNE 17--Indigo Advanced Systems (IAS; Goleta, CA; www.indigosystems.com), an engineering group recently acquired by Indigo Systems Corporation, has completed its move to Niceville, FL. The new company division houses eight IAS employees in a 5000-sq ft facility.

The core hardware and software engineers of this newly formed division have developed innovative infrared camera acquisition, calibration, processing, analysis, and archival software for high-performance, infrared cameras for more than 15 years. This new facility will continue production of the Rtools software suite, which was created to specifically address the rigorous requirements of scientists and researchers who need extremely accurate radiometric measurements of dynamic phenomenon in rapidly changing environments.

Indigo Systems' advanced infrared, digital cameras, coupled with the RTools software toolkit has been utilized for several years by various military ranges. Indigo Systems' highest-performing, large-format, infrared Phoenix cameras are now available with the RTools software package and come with optional optics.

Since 1996, Indigo has provided IR cameras, software, and enclosure solutions for commercial, industrial, security, military, and R&D applications. Indigo Systems is a next-generation IR company, whose mix of commercial and defense expertise allows it to deliver military-grade IR products while driving down costs to enable new, commercial applications of IR cameras.
