To enable engineers to assess the image quality of their cameras, the Imaging Gauge system includes a test target and accompanyingsoftware that analyzes the target and reports image quality metrics. The Imaging Gauge measures the color accuracy of a camera for standard color spaces, the resolution of sensor and optical components and the tonescale characteristic curve (OECF). It also provides details on the neutral balance of gray color patches, color channel registration and lighting and sensor uniformity. It is offered in three versions – an engineering edition developed for research and engineering environments, an enterprise edition for engineers who deploy test systems to production, and a deployment edition for use by non-technical operators in production environments.
